Founded in 2007 with headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, by Swiss and Ethiopian partners, AEE intended from the outset to provide specialized structural engineering services not only in Ethiopia, but also in the greater Africa region.
Staying true to this vision, we, at AEE, specialize in heavily loaded, tall and large span structures and handle new and retrofit civil structural construction design, planning and management. As one of the top structural engineering firms in Ethiopia, we have worked on different projects including industrial plants, infrastructural structures, educational facilities, health facilities, mixed-use facilities, residences and apartments, offices and hospitality and hotel facilities with different levels of complexity and scale. Through the years, we have enjoyed success with both local and international architects and are known to address challenges head-on by so delivering on time and on budget. General and specialized international contractors have also engaged with us. These engagements have boosted our capabilities in online collaboration and in accomplishment of projects within different socio-cultural contexts.
